Deep pore cleansing.
Intensive hydration.
For your skin.
Gentle high-tech skincare for clearer pores, more hydration and a fresh glow – all year round and individually tailored to your skin condition.
The perfect foundation – on its own or before more intensive treatments.
AquaFacial combines gentle hydrodermabrasion, deep pore cleansing and hyaluronic hydration with technologies selected for your current skin condition. Skin feels fresh, smooth and deeply hydrated, without aggressive resurfacing and usually without downtime.
As a stand-alone facial, it is ideal for regular skincare, glow and hydration. We also use it as a preparatory treatment when the skin should be thoroughly cleansed, hydrated and balanced before selected more intensive treatments.
What the individual technologies do for your skin.
The focus is not on the handpiece, but on the effect on your skin. Depending on your skin condition, we combine only the steps that suit your goal.
Hydrodermabrasion
Gentle exfoliation removes superficial keratin build-up. At the same time, controlled vacuum supports deep pore cleansing while moisture is delivered to the freshly cleansed skin.
Effect: cleaner pores · smoother surface · hydrationultrasound + red light
After cleansing, ultrasound and the selected ampoule support active-ingredient care in the upper layers of the skin. Red light complements this step as a calm, regeneration-focused finish.
Effect: Wirkstoffpflege · Calming · GlowRadiofrequency
Controlled heat is used specifically when fine lines, elasticity and firmness are the focus. It adds a collagen-focused firming step to the AquaFacial base.
Effect: warmthimpuls · firmness · feinere LinienCold Plasma
A clarifying and soothing additional step for skin prone to blemishes, redness or sensitivity. Intensity and use are always adapted to the current condition of the skin.
Effect: balance · calming · clarifying supportMicrocurrent
Gentle electrical impulses stimulate the facial muscles. This finishing step is particularly useful when a fresher appearance and more defined-looking contours are desired.
Effect: muscle stimulation · contour · fresher appearanceCleanse. Deep-cleanse. Replenish.
The basic principle remains deliberately gentle – additional technologies are added only when your skin can benefit from them.
Cleansing & Exfoliation
Gentle cleansing removes superficial build-up and prepares the skin evenly for deep cleansing.
Deep Cleansing & Hydration
Controlled vacuum supports the cleansing of congested pores while the skin is simultaneously supplied with moisture.
Ampoule & Glow
A suitable cosmetic ampoule completes the treatment. Depending on the goal, we combine ultrasound, red light or other modules.
A facial that adapts to your skin.
AquaFacial is particularly popular because the intensity and modules can be selected flexibly. This makes the treatment suitable for dry, oily, sensitive or blemish-prone skin, as well as for regular skincare when the first signs of ageing appear.
Immediately after treatment, the skin often looks fresher, smoother and better hydrated. There is usually no significant downtime.
One AquaFacial – different priorities.
The cleansing and hydration base stays the same. We then add targeted modules according to your goal.
Pores & blemishes
Focus on exfoliation, vacuum cleansing and – where appropriate – cold plasma. Ideal when the skin becomes congested quickly or looks unsettled.
Dryness & glow
Focus on hyaluronic hydration, ampoule, ultrasound and red light for smoother, fresher-looking skin.
Sensitive skin & balance
Gentler intensities, selected active ingredients and soothing modules. Not every handpiece needs to be used in every treatment.
Fine lines & contour
Cleansing and hydration are combined with radiofrequency and/or microcurrent when firmness and contour are the main focus.
From cleansing to contouring – step by step.
Cleanse
Gentle cleansing and initial exfoliation prepare the skin.
Exfoliate & Deep Pore Cleansing
Hydrodermabrasion loosens build-up and cleanses pores with controlled vacuum.
Hydration with hyaluronic acid Boost
Intensive hydration for plumper, more supple-feeling skin.
Radiofrequency
Optional: supports collagen, elasticity and the smoothing of fine lines.
Cold Plasma
Optional: clarifying and soothing for inflamed-looking, blemished or sensitive skin.
Red light + ultrasound + ampoule
Supports the cosmetic delivery of active ingredients and accompanies the skin with a soothing effect.
Microcurrent
Gentle facial-muscle stimulation for enhanced contours and a fresh finish.
This is what the treatment looks like.
Hydrodermabrasion & deep pore cleansing
Same core principle, different treatment design.
Both treatments combine exfoliation, pore cleansing and hydration. The main difference at Skin Revive is modularity: our AquaFacial can be enhanced with radiofrequency, cold plasma, ultrasound with red light and microcurrent depending on the skin goal.

AquaFacial is deliberately designed to be flexible. Cleansing, hydration and optional high-tech steps are not used according to a fixed scheme, but selected to suit your skin condition.
What is the difference between AquaFacial and HydraFacial®?
AquaFacial is a water-based, non-invasive facial treatment. The core combines gentle exfoliation, deep vacuum cleansing and hydration. At Skin Revive, additional technologies such as radiofrequency, cold plasma, ultrasound with red light and microcurrent can be added.
Is AquaFacial also suitable for sensitive skin?
For many age groups and skin conditions – for example dry or dull skin, visible or congested pores, oily skin, blemishes, uneven skin texture or first fine lines. What matters is not your age, but what your skin needs right now.
Is AquaFacial also suitable for sensitive skin?
Often yes. Vacuum strength, exfoliation, active ingredients and additional modules can be adjusted. For very reactive, injured or acutely inflamed skin, we first assess whether a treatment is appropriate and which steps should be omitted.
Can AquaFacial help with blemished skin, blackheads or acne?
The combination of exfoliation and controlled vacuum cleansing is particularly useful for congested pores and oily, blemish-prone skin. Cold plasma can optionally be added as a clarifying and soothing step. In cases of severe, inflammatory or medically treated acne, the treatment should be discussed in advance.
Is AquaFacial also suitable for dry or dehydrated skin?
Yes. After cleansing, the focus is on hydration and suitable active-ingredient care. Hyaluronic hydration and ultrasound with an ampoule can be particularly useful when the skin feels dry, tight or dull.
What happens during the treatment?
First, the skin is cleansed and gently exfoliated. This is followed by deep vacuum cleansing of the pores with hydration. Then, depending on the skin goal, we select radiofrequency, cold plasma, ultrasound with red light and ampoule, as well as microcurrent. Not every additional module needs to be used in every session.
Is the treatment painful?
AquaFacial is normally experienced as very pleasant. During deep cleansing, you feel a light suction. Radiofrequency feels warm; microcurrent may be perceived as a very gentle tingling sensation. The intensity is adjusted individually.
When will I see results?
Immediately after the treatment, the skin often looks cleaner, smoother, fresher and better hydrated. How noticeable the effect is and how long it remains visible depends on skin condition, skincare, season and the selected treatment protocol.
How often should I have AquaFacial?
For regular skincare, a roughly monthly schedule makes sense for many clients. If there is a specific skin goal, an individually planned treatment rhythm can also be useful at the beginning. We base this on skin condition and tolerance rather than a rigid schedule.
Can I have AquaFacial all year round?
After AquaFacial, the focus is on supporting recovery and protecting the treated area. The focus and intensity are adjusted so the treatment fits into your wider Skin Longevity or body-care plan.
What is the difference between AquaFacial and HydraFacial®?
Both work with a fluid-based principle combining exfoliation, cleansing or extraction and hydration. HydraFacial® is, however, a protected branded treatment with its own Vortex-Fusion technology, defined handpieces and system solutions. AquaFacial is a general term for hydrodermabrasion-based treatments. Our AquaFacial additionally differs through its modular combination with radiofrequency, cold plasma, Ultrasound + red light and microcurrent.
What is the difference between AquaFacial and HydraFacial®?
If you specifically want the original HydraFacial® branded treatment and its standardised system protocol, HydraFacial® is the right choice. If you want a flexible treatment in which cleansing and hydration can be combined with additional technologies depending on the skin goal, AquaFacial is particularly interesting. We are happy to help you choose between the two based on your skin condition.
What does radiofrequency add to AquaFacial?
Radiofrequency generates controlled heat and is used optionally when fine lines, elasticity and firmness are the focus. It is not a requirement in every AquaFacial, but a targeted additional step.
Why do you combine ultrasound, red light and an ampoule?
After deep pore cleansing, we use this step for targeted cosmetic active-ingredient care. Ultrasound supports delivery into the upper layers of the skin, while red light rounds off the treatment flow with a calm, regeneration-focused finish.
What does microcurrent do – and can you see an immediate effect?
Microcurrent gently stimulates the facial muscles and is used mainly when contour and a fresher expression are desired. Immediately after the session, contours may appear more defined; how long the effect lasts is individual.
Why do you combine ultrasound, red light and an ampoule?
Yes. AquaFacial can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as part of a broader treatment plan. Whether it makes sense on the same day, beforehand or at a separate time depends on the intensity of the other treatment and your skin condition. That is why we plan the sequence individually.
Is there any downtime?
Usually not. The skin may look slightly pink immediately afterwards, especially after more intensive vacuum cleansing or when additional modules have been used. In most cases, you can return to your normal routine straight away.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
Treat your skin gently on the day of treatment: use sufficient hydration, avoid additional peels or strongly irritating acids and apply consistent sun protection. Intense heat such as sauna and very strenuous exercise are best avoided immediately afterwards, especially if your skin reacts quickly.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
If your skin is calm, make-up is usually possible again. For freshly cleansed skin, however, it is ideal to leave it as undisturbed as possible for a few hours and use only the recommended skincare and sun protection.
When should an AquaFacial be postponed or adapted?
AquaFacial is not performed on acutely inflamed, infected or injured skin. Relevant illnesses, medications, recent procedures and individual contraindications are reviewed before treatment; medical clearance may be recommended when appropriate.
